I think its time for Danny to go. - Paul Thomas
Danny Simpson does dumb things, Gouffran loves Newcastle, and Pardew says Ba will miss being Tyneside.
Perhaps you've heard, but Danny Simpson got himself into a bit of trouble. That article lists West Ham and Fulham as potential targets for Simpson when he leaves, and to them I say, "Here you go!"
The Sun has a video of the brawl, plus the news you really want: Simpson's girlfriend was shocked by the news.
In happier news, Yoan Gouffran says he loved the support from the Newcastle faithful during his first home match. He says he had never experienced an atmosphere like the one at Saint James' Park on Saturday. Even on TV, you could tell the place was jumping.
Alan Pardew says that the experience at SJP is unique, and former Magpie Demba Ba won't experience it anywhere else. Pardew adds that the match against Chelsea was the best he'd ever seen.
Pard's also says that Moussa Sissoko will give NUFC some "power". In case you have been without Internet for three days, Sissoko scored a brace, including the game winning goal against Chelsea.
As we reported earlier, Tiote is coming back Tyneside after Ivory Coast exit the African Cup of Nations. He'll be available for selection for Newcastle's next match against Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham won their last game out against West Bromwich. The fine folks over at Cartilage Free Captain have a match report. Go say hello.
Tottenham's Jermain Defoe will not play for England in their friendly against Brazil.
