Shola Ameobi was born in Nigeria and raised in Newcastle. Aside from a short loan to Stoke City, this is the only club he has ever known. By now he is family to the Toon Army, occasionally delighting and/or frustrating. Shola plays his best against S*nd*rl*nd and even scored at Barcelona in the Champions League. His younger brother Sammy (@Sammy_Ameobi) is trying to break through and become a regular. (Sammy is just a big kid on Twitter and you should definitely follow him. He's pretty much every NUFC fan's younger cousin.)
