Hi, I've been meaning to become a fan of EPL for a couple of months and while I've watched games and kept slight track of the league back in high school, I'm still not sure who I should root for. I know I don't want to be a Man U. fan because my hatred for the NY Yankees keeps me from being a fan of a team who is compared to them. I'm not looking to be a fair weather fan. This is to be a commitment like my other sports teams BUT I want to know who I'm becoming a fan OF. I've read Bill Simmons' guide to choosing an EPL team and it has helped some but it's 6 years old and times have obviously changed from then so, could you help me? I chose Newcastle because that's the team I'm leaning towards the most and I figured it would be better to start at the top of my list and work my way down if need be.
