Newcastle United have officially started their pre-season exhibition schedule even if the echos are still ringing from the official confirmation that pre-season will in fact happen for the club. Alan Pardew will likely use this match to blood youngsters and new boys (as you would expect), so it should be an interesting one. Players who participated in Euro 2012 have been given extra time off and are not yet with the squad, so we'll probably see Rob Elliot between the sticks and there will be opportunities for the number of center-mid players that will be looking to impress as well.
