Conspiracy Theory Sure To Be Wrong:

Pieters is signed and sealed, providing cover for Santon at left back, making Raylor superfluous; Marveaux out till April, Gaby’s toe unreliable, Raylor essentially now shuffled to RM as primary position.

Just thinking about N'Zonzi--

interesting he’s playing as he’s been the DM du jour linked with the Sky6

Read a piece yesterday that

Kean may be loathe to sell very many players (this was in regard to Samba, mostly, but surely applies across) as he won’t be getting to see even a large percentage of the £ to re-invest…

I think they did

Question:

Is there a more tortuous month in sport for supporters than January for a non-Sky6 team?

I quite like January for the NFL playoffs

But by the end of it things usually get gloomy as we reflect on the name(s) we have sold in the window and the NFL comes to a end.

Discussion point:

Bestie said in one of the pieces this week that he will do whatever it takes to help the team. Reports are that he’s trying to play a more withdrawn role as he does when Ba is in there and not like a CF. Does this speak to a supreme lack of confidence in his shot currently?

Corollary question:

Surely this is something that AP should know… problem with loyalty v. accurate selection here?

His play in the last few matches suggest that something is up with him. It just seems he is always making the wrong choice when he has the ball.

Been a frustrating match...

we started really well but (as we do) allowed Blackburn to creep back in and then fell behind. First 10 minutes and last 20 minutes of the match seem to have been completely different from us…
