Monday links and the weekend that was

I meant to put this together this morning, but laziness got in the way.  I don't purport to any specific knowledge, but hopefully any old hack can throw together some links.  Howay we go!

Davide Santon may not have surgery on his knee after all and may feature vs. Blackburn on Saturday

Hatem Ben Arfa will play his first competitive match in over a year v. Forest.  Possibly Dan Gosling as well?

Papiss Demba Cisse is likely to move from Freiburg following the season.  Or during the January transfer window.

Tim Krul perhaps reads a bit much into the Villa draw.

Here's a fun little column about covering NUFC for the Shields Gazette.

There's only one Sameobi?  Human interest piece from the Sun.

Nile Ranger is not two feet out the door... yet.

Hatem Ben Arfa may positively affect our attack.  Who knew?

Well-- as the conductor of my Jazz Ensemble in college said:  "It's a baby, but it'll grow."  Need to seek advice on tweaking my Google News reader for maximum effectiveness.  But today (GMT) is game day!  HTL!
