51dimes recommended a couple of books - "How Soccer Explains the World" and "Soccer Against the Enemy" - in one of the other threads and it got me thinking that I haven't read enough books on the subject. I've read two in the last year, and unfortunately for my street cred they're pretty mainstream, though I certainly recommend both. They are:
Soccernomics (not the full title, it's way too long)
and
Inverting the Pyramid: The History of Football Tactics
Actually, I lied. I'm still reading the second one. Now that you know how uncultured I am, educate me (and the rest of us). What are some soccer books that you guys would recommend? I've looked several times for some quality NUFC books and haven't really found anything that looked promising, so suggestions in that area are especially welcome. Consider this thread an opportunity to discuss the contents of any books mentioned here as well.
