Lets go Newcastle!!!
I really dont like Liverpool so I hope we can beat them at home. I especially dont want Enrique or Carroll to score. Apparently NUFC has won every game it has scored in first. Its so vital we get on the score sheet. Here’s hoping we can pull out a win there.

just want to say go Newcastle and enjoy this one without me
I don’t have work today but I am waiting to watch the game until tonight when I will watch it on DVR with a bunch of Loserpool fan friends when they get off work.
Avoiding the internets, text messages, and all social media for the next 7 hours starting… now.

I wonder if they’re still acting on concerns of his fitness… in today’s links, HBA was himself quoted as saying he’s still not just 100%

NUFC Lineup (4-4-1-1)
Krul | Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini ©, RTaylor | Obertan, Tiote, Cabaye, Jonas | Vuckic | Ba
Subs: Elliot, Santon, Perch, Ben Arfa, Sammy, Shola, Best
As wuds pointed out, Vuckic starts over Best (and HBA)
Santon makes the bench, but Raylor starts
No other surprises
by Robert L. Bishop on Dec 30, 2011 6:57 PM GMT reply actions
I'd qualify the 4-4-1-1 a surprise
Though I suppose Best/HBA/Vuckic have all started out playing behind Ba

Reina | Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique | Spearing, Adam, Henderson, Downing | Carroll, Bellamy

Jersey Shore was brilliant! The drama, the intrigue, the romance, the Snooki… I was rapt every time I watched it. It was incredible.

Excuse my I-stopped-playing-at-age-9 here, but c’mon…that kinda sliding tackle, you might get stepped on. It’s a physical game.
…Right?

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me either
If anything, Tiote’s forearm shiver to the back of the head deserved a yellow. But neither was a sending off

We've had good possession
but Liverpools back lines have been absolute walls… ugh.
They’re like oscillating lines, never a break in them. We might need to just take some zingers and hope for the best.
We need HBA's creativity

Or something, I agree
Also, is it just me or has Tiote been playing higher more often?
I’ve always liked Tiote better near the right and Cabaye next to Jonas… hmmm.

Cabaye has been absent the past few games in my book
I havent really noticed him, he hasnt been as creative as he has in the beginning of the season. But thats just me

We're starting to get a little dirty...
I can’t remember the last time we’ve been this nippy. Colo’s elbow was surprising.
Comment from my Liverpool buddy
“Take some solace is knowing Andy Carroll is STILL the best player on your team”
Alright guys, I think this game has shown us it's finally time...
We need to have a serious talk about Danny….
There are two options:
1. Find someone in January. If we’re already looking in the Everdivise for players like Pieters, perhaps we could make a move for someone like Alderwield. Also, there is a player for Shaktar, Rakytskiy, who is looking for a move to more prominent European club. Or we pick up a known talent who has fallen out of favor… Carragher, perhaps? I know he played mostly mid, but we could tighten up our back line a bit regardless.
2. Tweak the system. Maybe give Raylor a shot on the right? Call up some of the young boys like Kadar or Dummett? I don’t know.
Here is what I do know, Simpson needs to go. I’ve given up. He let up goals 2 and 3 today, was pretty worthless in attack, and was non existent in defense. Liverpool could have done WHATEVER they wanted on the bottom right third. And Gerrad did exactly that. Bleh
by johnjmurphy17 on Dec 30, 2011 9:41 PM GMT up reply actions
Agreed
I wanted Simpson gone a while back, we need a replacement there and cover for when SImpson leaves. We also need another defender behind or ahead of STaylor. Am I confident will do all of that with the addition of getting another striker and not losing our best players in the process? Nope.

1 defender in I think
And if we sell Tiote then maybe a midfielder if we are lucky.

Can’t understand what Simpson was doing dropping back on a free kick that far out.
