Overall, wonderful first half for us.
It reminds me a lot of the 1-1 game at Old Tafford last year (or at least the last Man U game of the season, last year. It was on a Monday, pretty sure it was at Old Tafford).
Lots of pace and agression from both sides, to the point where it got a little sloppy in the box.

Cabaye doesnt have the same confidence going forward with Guthrie alongside him. That said, Guthrie had a GREAT first half…if he continues, Cabaye will push forward.

it seems as though there is something about this side of the pitch
maybe I’m reading into it, but Man U looks to be doing a lot of the same things Newcastle did in the first half, especially Nani making runs nearly identical to those Obertan did… maybe a quick patch of grass there down near the touch line.
That one was a little forced through midfield...
need to keep knocking it around a little bit on the offensive end… we can cause them trouble if we’re patient…
